Comments :   +-100 million years old. The specimen was dug out by mistake, by diamond diggers. It was found at 10 meters. This is an old ebony tree stump, it was tested and found as one of the few well preserved Ebony trees in fossilized state. It shows cells and year-rings. The outer layer of the wood consist of soft white wood that petrified in a wheathered shape. The inner core petrified as dense rock, which we polished to a sharp point to show the great textures. This is a great decor piece for corporate buildings. This is a rare piece. Location Namakwaland, Northern Cape, South Africa. More detailed pictures can be send.
