Natrolite

Bultfonteinite was named after the place it was first found, Bultfontein. It was first found in a diamond mine.

It occurs in a wide variety of crystal habits. The best bultfonteinite came from N'Chwaning II mine in 1985. These were partially coated by fibrous white oyelite most of which was immediately washed off so as to reveal the bultfonteinite!

Needle-like crystals forming radiating groups have been found at the Wessels mine. I bought out a pocket of these rare minerals and that is why I have such a fine selection.
