Cerussite

Anglesite was abundant at Tsumeb.

The first major find was made at 190 to 240 meters below surface. The specimens that came out at that time were white bipyramidal crystals up to 8 cm. It was then discovered on and off up to 340 meters.

Many different habits of anglesite was found at Tsumeb, it can often be confused by cerussite and wulfenite. The biggest were diamond shaped. Listen to this, up to 50 cm in size.

Anglesite comes in different colors, white and yellow is the most common.
