Boltwoodite

It forms as a secondary mineral in the oxidation zone of uranium deposits as a product of uraninite alteration, It is associated with autenite, torbernite and other secondary uranium hydroxides. Crystals up to 10 mm long occur in Shinkolobwe Kasolo, DRC and Mounana, Gabon. Fine crystals also came from the Rossing mine in Namibia.
