Fracture	Conchoidal, uneven
Luster	Adamantine on crystal faces, glimmering on fracture surfaces
Cleavage	Indistinct on (001) (110) and (111)
Streak	White, sometimes light yellow
Similar to: (in powder form)	Copiapite, greenockite
Sulpher is the hydrothermal product of fumaroles. It is associated with gypsum, anhydrite, aragonite, calcite, celestite and halite.
