Kasolite is a natural radioactive mineral.

Kasolite derives it's name from its main locality, Kasolo, Zaire (1921).

Kasolite can be found in world wide in uranium-bearing ores.

Kasolite forms sheaves of divergent crystals, rivet washers, sea urchins and radiate aggregates fibrous.
