The combination of black against red makes stunning specimens. This specimen consist of large pyramids(up to 1 cm) of shiny black hausmannite on a red andradite base. The red is all round the base. Difficult to photograph but definitely a good specimen. I was fortunate to get the bulk of this pocket from N'Chwaning II mine at Kuruman.  This is the only locality in the world where you will find this quality of hausmannite. The hausmannite forms pagoda-like pyramids with good luster. Recommended!!!
