Description: A gem quality kyanite in matrix from Zimbabwe. The kyanite is housed in quartz. There are several kyanite crystals that intersect one another on this large secimen. Very seldom do these come out as aesthetic. I would say that this one is interesting but would not describe it as highly aesthetic. But it can add a new mineral to someone who still needs a good kyanite in matrx.
